Basic Training

You would be surprised how far Rika's cheeks can stretch before Fedor gets his butt kicked

Muddy Monday

While most of the snow is gone in the backyard and the yard appears to have grass, you would think the yard was a mud pit.  100% is the only acceptable score for cleaning the dog feet.  Miss one of the eight and you'll be cleaning mud and wonder which foot on which dog you missed. 😧

Early obedience

It is Sunday and we are up early.  A little obedience training to start off.  Fedor is getting the sit concept, although he currently probably only knows that if his butt is on the ground he gets to eat.  Rika loves the obedience but I believe she feels that she should get Fedor's treat because she sits quicker.  Sometimes she's right...

Snuggle Puppies

Rika went to training today.  Fedor went along for a quick visit but left before the activities got started.  When Rika returned, she was very tired as always.  Rika fell asleep and Fedor curled up next to her and sleeped also. #PerfectPuppy times two.

Good morning

My tummy must have been upset all night.  I was very restless and finally needed to go out at a little after 5.

Rika says the puppy whimpering kept her awake all night so she's tired.

A tired puppy.

Yesterday Rika and I were hell in wheel o. Wheels until 2 PM.  Then, we both slept for a few hours. When we woke up, Rika wasn't feeling well.  Rika seems to be doing better today and has even played with me some. She still isn't eating yet.  We are both napping now and hopefully will take a trip at lunch time.

Day 3 already?

Technically this is the 4th day that Fedor has been at our home, but this is the 3rd morning that he has woken up here.

What a great night it was.  Fedor ate a good raw supper at a little after 10 PM and then fell asleep in has crate with only a few whimpers.  Tom started waking up every 30 minutes or so starting at 2:30, expecting Fedor to be waking up.  Fedor slept until 6 o'clock when Shari's alarm went off Amazing!

Outside to do their business and then back in for a big breakfast.  Then the battles began.

I held my own and I soon found myself sharing an old shoe with my nemesis.  Everything seems good. But wait!  She's after me again! I go on the offensive and counter attack!

She runs away like a coward.

Life is not fair.  Tom needs to work and sends me to the penitentiary.  Solitary confinement?  No!  I get locked up with the female dog that got me into trouble.

I finally made it out and was minding my own business when someone called the K9 Unit.  Run!

It's only 2 PM.......
